As a strategic communication and change adviser, consultant and coach/mentor, Annette Warren helps organisations, teams and individuals be the change they want to see.

Annette set up Red Thread Connection in 2008. Since then, she has provided internal communication and change support to a broad range of FTSE 100 companies, including Royal Dutch Shell, EDF, HSBC, Betfair, Tesco, O2 and Anglo American.

Annette combines over 20 years’ practical business and technical experience with good old fashioned common sense. Having held senior roles in customer service, operations and communication, she combines a strong strategic vision with the ability to deliver practical and engaging solutions to organisational, cultural or performance issues.

An accredited coach/mentor, Annette is passionate about putting people at the heart of everything she does. She believes strongly in connecting people to whatever information they need to feel confident, move forward and do the best job they can. Keeping up to date with the latest thinking on communication and employee engagement, she ensures Red Thread Connection solutions meet the needs of today’s growing i-Gen and Millennial workforce.

In particular, she’s skilled at identifying and mobilising the internal influencers and power brokers who determine the success or failure of change programmes.

Over the past 20 years Catherine has worked across a broad range of companies, both -in-house and consultancy, where she has built a strong reputation for advising Senior Leaders and Directors on employee engagement strategy and thought leadership, including: HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland, Novartis, GSK, CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, BBC, ITV, Capital Radio Group, BP, Zurich and Marks & Spencer

Results driven, Catherine’s mantra is ‘everything is possible’. While Catherine is commercially minded and a strategic thinker, creativity and originality are at the core of every solution she develops. As a seasoned internal communications and employee engagement practitioner, Suzannah Jones informs, involves and energises people to deliver change.

Suzannah loves nothing more than tackling big, unwieldy change programmes, no matter how complex the subject. A linguist at heart, she’s passionate about ensuring ‘Tech’ and Programme jargon is translated into simple strategies and campaigns that speak to and actively engage people.

Over the past 20 years, she has worked within multiple sectors in the UK and internationally, leading on a wide variety of business, brand and change related projects. She’s ticked the boxes of consultancy, agency, ‘in-house’ and independent contractor including work with Telefonica UK, MoneySupermarket Group, DHL, ITV, EDF Energy, BAA plc, Gatwick Airport, RSA, Deutsche Bank and Airbus.

Flexible, personable and enthusiastic, Suzannah is a real team player, capable of turning her hand to whatever is required. An effective strategist, experienced project manager and team leader, as well as being a professional and engaging coach, trainer and facilitator, she believes collaboration is the key to delivering great results.

Louise Sturgess

Louise has worked in the field of employee and change communications for over 20 years. Her career started on the agency side, where she was responsible for managing and developing client relationships and consulting. Louise’s client-side experience started with a move to Google in 2009. Since then she has held a variety of senior in-house roles across a diverse range of global companies, including BP, Fujitsu, Kingfisher and HSBC.

Louise describes herself as sector agnostic and enjoys getting under the skin of new organisations and working with different people. She has strong creative and project management skills and extensive experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams.

Louise is a Prosci certified change practitioner and trained in social media management, with practical experience of developing and running a multi-platform social media campaign.
